'Ni Hekima Pekee' means 'Only with Wisdom' in Swahili. The name reflects the reality that nothing can be done, especially in helping the community, if people do not have wisdom.

Ni Hekima Pekee is committed to helping disadvataged children and young people – often referred to as 'street kids' – to become self-reliant and useful citizens, responsible for their own livelihood.

They have completed a pilot project, with support from Wabia Network, to help 'street youth' to start in business. The pilot was then extended, giving another ten young men the chance to leave the streets.

Wabia Network provides advice and funding to selected partners in Tanzania.
